TMTz ("we", "us", or "our") is a Discord community that makes community-run tools for the TMTz SCUM game server, accessible at tmtzscummap.com. Access to the map is restricted to members of the TMTz Discord server who hold the SCUM role.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our site, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. We are based in the United States and this policy is governed by US law.
We only collect information that is necessary for the map to function. We do not collect names, email addresses, payment information, or IP addresses.

sessionStorage (cleared on tab close) and preferences in localStorage (stored only in your browser). No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies are set.
We use your information solely to provide and operate the TMTz Interactive Map. Specifically:
Your Discord identity is used to authenticate you and verify your Discord server membership. Your role (admin or player) determines what actions you can perform on the map. Your username and avatar are displayed within the site only while you are logged in.
Map pins and zones you create in shared mode are stored in our database and visible to other authenticated members of the TMTz community. Pins and zones created in solo mode are stored only in your browser's localStorage and are never sent to our servers.
We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the map.
We use two external services to operate the site. No other third parties receive your data.
Your Discord identity information (ID, username, avatar) is held only in your browser's sessionStorage for the duration of your active browser session and is automatically deleted when you close the tab or click Logout.
Shared map pins and zones are retained in our Supabase database for as long as the site is operational or until an admin removes them. Solo pins and zones are stored only in your browser's localStorage and are under your direct control.
We do not retain your Discord access token after authentication is complete. It is used only to fetch your profile and role at login time and is not stored on our servers.
Because we are a small community project based in the United States, formal regulatory frameworks like GDPR or CCPA do not apply to us. However, we respect your control over your own data and will honor the following requests:
Access: You may ask us what data we hold associated with your Discord ID.
Deletion: You may request that we delete any data associated with your Discord ID from our Supabase database. Contact us via Discord and we will action it promptly.
Browser data: You can clear your sessionStorage and localStorage at any time through your browser's developer tools or settings. This will log you out and reset your local preferences.
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Access requires membership in the TMTz Discord server, which itself requires users to be at least 13 years old per Discord's Terms of Service. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For a community project of this size, changes will typically be announced in the TMTz Discord server. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
